Fantasy is a real genre with real literature. It isn't limiting. It's not all dragons and maidens faire. Also, it's not all I read. Stop it, stop it, stop it, I know you don't like what I like but that doesn't mean it's childish or bad. Fantasy and science fiction are everywhere now. 1984 was dystopian sci-fi. No, I don't read a ton of classics. Who gives a flying fuck? Are characters less interesting because they have pointy ears? Just because I don't read everything on the the Times Best Sellers does not mean I don't read good books. I read more of your books than you read of mine.

I downloaded a CD (Vienna Teng, natch!) only to find it was in .wma format. Undaunted, I converted the files to .mp3, and it seemed to work. They changed from opening in VLC to opening in iTunes, the Info section says they're .mp3s, all that jazz. But they won't play, and I'm feeling sad without my shiny new Vienna. Any ideas?

I feel unmotivated. It's not like I have nothing to write. I'm working on Xmas presents, I've been in the car six hours and have another hour and a half to go, so I've got the time. I'm really interested in the prompts I got, I love the idea I have for the Winter Challenge, hell, I'm not even forcinbg myself to write. It isn't writer's block. I'm just...
